It was our first night in Venice and we all went out to dinner as a group. Our reservation was for 7pm which apparently is very early for dinner. I will have to get used to eating later! I, along with another girl sitting by me ordered the mushroom ravioli. It happened to be the most expensive item on the menu and one of the few vegetarian items besides the pizza. When our plate arrived we were shocked to see how little amount of food we received. We looked back on the menu and saw that the truffle oil not the portion was the reason for the high price tag. Luckily a couple of our friends offered us some of their pizza, which would have been a much better deal seeing that a whole pizza cost less than 10 euros.
